WORTHING RAIDERS V STOURBRIDGE | For those who were unable to attend or were there but couldn't bear to watch, there are 5 pages of Worthing RFC reports and pictures in the Worthing Herald after the club's promotion into National 1 on Saturday.

| Last Saturdays win by the Raiders at Stoubridge and promotion to National 1 for next season is a fantastic achievement by the players, coaching team, back room support crew and the whole club who have supported the team throughout the season. A fantastic day and season for Worthing RFC and it has capped a memorable season with all our senior teams gaining promotions, our Under 14s and Under 9s being crowned Sussex Champions and all teams throughout the Club enjoying individual successes.
All of this would not have been achieved without the support of the Clubs sponsors. Too many to name individually here but seen on our web site. But special mention has to be given to our main Raiders sponsors, without whom our achievement would not have been possible Yeomans, Darren Crabb Wealth Management, L & S Printing, B & W speakers and Rabbit Group. Thank you one and all. more...

Adrian Hawke | It is with much sadness that we report the passing, last Saturday evening, of Adrian Hawke. Before he retired Adrian taught Music at Worthing Sixth Form College and was a club member for many years, playing scrum half in the 1st XV, particularly in the Castle Road days.
The funeral will be held at Worthing Crematorium on 31st May at 11.40am. The family invite friends back to the Rugby Club for refreshments after the service.
Our thoughts are with his wife Sheila, his two sons James and Nick and their families.

| Thanks to all sponsors, fund raisers, organisers from the Mini section, that made the mini section tour to Butlins in Minehead, such a huge success his weekend.
200 parents and players represented the club with fun and pride as well as playing some great rugby in the Tigers Challenge tournament.
This year the mini section has been raising funds for the fantastic charity, Chestnut Tree House. Through several events and activities, the section has raised over £1000 so far, £400 on this tour! Thank you to everyone's generosity.
The Madness theme continued over the weekend, the tour has proven to be a fitting end to the season for all.
